In countries where Searle / Raffel have no agent or distributor, direct sales are made from the 2 manufacturing locations in the UK and France.

Dawmec products are only available to UK customers.

ICG Market Splits

Searle offers a number of ranges of condensing units ideal for commercial use. The compact, highly-efficient NCU / SCU range offers capacities of 0.6 kW to 44kW across low and medium temperatures, with a choice of refrigerants. With noise levels down to 33dB(A), the range is ideal for use in any application where space and noise could be limiting factors. Larger capacities (up to 95kW) at similar noise levels are offered by the HCU range. All Searle’s condensing units offer fast and easy installation, minimal maintenance and low lifetime costs.

A typical example of a commercial refrigeration application is a major West Country catering butcher which relies on Searle’s cooling products throughout its 18,000 square foot production facility. Producing and supplying high-quality meats, poultry and meat products for the hotel, restaurant, pub and industrial catering trade, the company has around 70 employees and serves over 1000 outlets.

With about 19 tons of throughput each week, the factory operates with two high-temperature refrigeration air-cooled packs and one dual-circuit, low-temperature, air-cooled pack featuring 15 scroll compressors from Searle’s sister company Dawmec. Installed with full temperature control and alarm systems, the refrigeration products from Searle include 20 KS, KM and DSR dual-discharge coolers, four special insulated coolers and three MDG four-fan flatbed air-cooled condensers.
