How to buy

To buy products from Searle, customers must have a valid Searle account, which enables direct sales.  If there is a suitable agent or distributor in your country then you should contact them first.

To determine if Searle has an agent or distributor in your country, select SUPPORT – Contact Us and use the drop-down list to choose your country.  If there is a distributor, then you should contact them for the supply of Searle products as they will have a local office.

If Searle UK is listed as your contact, then it may be possible to open an account and order Searle products via the web-site directly.

Dawmec products are only available for sale to UK account holders.

For account holders, the web-site is designed in a similar manner to many on-line shopping sites, with the added benefit that product selections can be performed interactively online.  This allows customers to select products in the same manner as the reliable Searle Selection Program, but also provides the following additional information :-

• Discounted prices
• Product Availability
• Technical specifications

Operation

The web-site operates with the use of shopping baskets, where products can be added or removed, quantities added and comments attached to each line item or to the whole order.

To use a shopping basket, you must be logged in with an account number.  Select My Active Basket from the 2nd line menu and either choose an existing basket, or create a new basket.

To create a new basket, type a recognisable name into the Name/reference box and press submit, this basket then becomes your active basket.

At any time that products are added to a basket, they are added to the active basket.

Use the Help me Choose or Interactive drop-down to use the online selection software to select your product(s) and add to your active basket.  Your discounted price is shown on the screen, if applicable.  Alternatively if the price is shown as POA – Price on Application, your price will be calculated and sent back to you when you select Get  Quote.

When you have finished adding products to your basket, it will be saved. 

When you are ready to submit your basket for final quotation, then select Get Quote and answer OK when asked to Proceed ?
