The standard S-series compressor comprise the mid-range "2S and 3S" as well as the capacity controllable 4S and 6S models including the more recently introduced D6SU. S-series compressors are suction gas cooled compressors from 5 to 70 hp and can run both major refrigeration and air conditioning applications. For low temperature applications with R22, D2S compressors are available in air-cooled mode.

In air-cooled or suction gas cooled version, the compressor itself can be converted by a suitably qualified person in either way. Benefits of using air-cooled compressors include enhanced refrigeration capacity, increased COP, enlarged operating envelope offering higher condensing at lower evaporating temperatures down to -45°C.

To obtain an extended operating envelope with R22, a liquid injection method is used with a DTC-value installed on the compressor body. The DTC valve liquid injection system is a low cost and reliable solution. Copressors are also available for high temperature applications with a univeral envelope from -30 °C to + 7 °C, making them a full solution for all wholesale thus reducing stock for a broad range of applications.
